EFFECT ON DROPLET BREAK-UP

13 Crude oils from the North Sea have been tested with the Typhoon® System. The results of the standard valve showed smaller oil droplets than the ones of the Typhoon® System for all 13 tested crude oils. The difference in oil droplet sizes is large, especially when considering an offshore produced water system’s ability to remove oil.
