Rune Husveg successfully defend his Ph.D. thesis “Tracking Maximum Produced Water Treatment Efficiency Using a Variable Speed Coalescing Centrifugal Pump.”

Rune has been an industrial Ph.D. student, collaborating with Typhonix, the University of Agder and the Research Council of Norway. Through his project, he has developed control methods to automatically and continuously optimize the droplet growth in Typhonix Coalescing pump and has shown that his methods can be used to maximize the separation efficiency of a downstream hydrocyclone.
